The valley of Kashmir has been under the worst curfew of the history and siege for more than 67 days. It is not for the first time that Indian government imposed curfew there but after they removed article 370, their intentions don’t seem to bring any good to Kashmir. For India it’s a routine work to victimize poor Kashmiris but what about international community? Why no nation takes pain of these helpless, innocent Kashmiris?
It’s beyond every doubt that peace cannot be established whith unjust treatment. So to ensure worldwide peace we should spread justice and equality among masses. But unfortunately this is not happening and many people are suffering from tyranny and unjust treatment round the world. No nation should bear it silently because it is equally dangerous and terrifying for the whole world. Let people live their life to their wills should be the golden principle of every society. This will lead us to a prosperous world. Unless otherwise we will have to face the music and their is no use of blaming others for any reaction.
This happened in the episode of Mannan Wani who appeared as advocate of humanity and published a number of articles to describe the real picture of Kashmir exposing cruelties of India. Later on he changes his path feeling the deaf ear of the international forums. This will be the choice of every soul in Kashmir to struggle for independence. No use of maliging such sentiment if we don’t change the circumstances. It’s the outcome of those cruelties and terrible inhuman treatment which is continued for 73 years in Kashmir.
Mannan Wani emerged as a heroic figure for the whole Kashmiri nation and an inspiration for freedom fighters. He, as a scholar and then as a freedom fighter left lon lasting impressions on history. His courage was undefeated and he chose the path of resistance after he realized his pen fails to spread his message. If his voice had been heard and consequently Kashmiri nation would have get freedom or the tyranny would have stopped, the things would have changed. Offering good jobs and so called bright future in the dark period of occupation cannot stop the wave roused by the blood of martyrs. In this modern age a sensible solution can work that had been decided in the earlier to resolve this issue according to the will of Kashmiris through plebiscite and not by force. And if India still thinks he can achieve her objectives by force it would be an utter foolishness and a destructive disasterous dream. It is therefore an obligatory responsibility of all powerful communities to lay stress on Indian atrocious government to resolve this issue in a peaceful way.
